We Need Your Help! KingdomQuest Vacation Bible School will be happening at Oakdale July 9th-13th everyday from 9:00am until noon. We're very excited about our first VBS in our new facility and we're going to need lots of volunteers. Please talk to Mark Anderson if you can help that week. Thanks!

ALL LADIES AND GIRLS are invited to a bridal shower honoring Kassi Hetletvedt, bride-elect of Ryan VanderPloeg, Monday June 18^th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

YOU ARE INVITED  to a graduation reception for Anna Hatten on June 24^th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the church.

LIKE TO GOLF?  You are invited to take part in a Golf Tournament Fundraiser for Eric and Jamie Staveness.  Next Sunday June 24 at 4 PM at the Lake Creek Country Club by Storm Lake.  There will be door prizes, a silent auction, a meal, and hole prizes.  Cost is $60 per person.  The money raised will go towards supporting the ministry of Eric and Jamie Staveness through the Navigators.  Pick up a registration form on the table in the foyer or talk to Pastor Clint.

THERE WILL BE A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING on Sunday July 15^th at 1:00 pm following a meal put on by the youth ministry to raise funds for their trip to New Orleans.

Special Wednesday night Bible Study on Death, Resurrection, and Eternal Life.  Come out to Oakdale this Wednesday night at 7:00PM for part 2 of “Death for the Christian and for Everyone Else,” led by Pastor Clint.  This study is for youth and adults.  Acorn Bible club will meet for children and nursery care is provided. 

A CLASS ON BAPTISM will be offered for all who are interested in learning more about Christian Baptism.  This class will be led by Pastor Clint and will meet for two Sundays, July 8 and July 15 during the Sunday School hour. 

BAPTISMAL SERVICE  If you desire to make a public profession of faith in Christ by Baptism please talk with Pastor Clint or Pastor Mark.  We are planning a Baptismal service for Sunday, August 12.

Total cash received to date:                          $1,662,510.83

Total cash & pledged to date:                       $1,758,359.31

Funds borrowed to date:                               $   337,500.00

The construction phase of our building fund loan is ended and a new note has been negotiated for the balance of cost.  The loan is for $337,500 with a rate of 6.75%.  Payments of $3892.80 will need to made monthly.  This means that we will be paying $62.42 per day for interest alone.  Keep this in mind as you plan your giving.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Student Ministries Canoe Excursion! On Saturday, June 16 we'll be heading to Linn Grove, IA for a canoe trip down the Little Sioux River. Cost is $10 per person. We'll leave from the Oakdale parking lot at 9:00am and arrive back around 2:00pm. Each person must bring their own lunch in a water proof container. If you want to go you must sign up in advance by contacting Mark Anderson. Deadline for sign-up is Wednesday, June 13.
