MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group this week.  Our next meeting will be Friday April 13^th at 6:15 AM at The Family Table.  Please read chapter 20 of Knowing God in preparation for the discussion. 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!  The dedication of our new building is planned for the weekend of June 8-10^th.  Please be thinking of relatives or past members/friends of Oakdale who may like to get in on this weekend of celebration and let them know these dates.

MEN ARE NEEDED on Monday morning April 9^th  at 9:00 am to move the copy machine, the secretary’s desk, and Mark’s desk.  Let Verdene know if you can help.

Dear Oakdale Family,   It has been such a joy to be back in your midst these past 4 months.  Being home, amongst friends and family, has refreshed us and invigorated us for the new task and opportunities God has called us to with the Finishers Project.

     Thank you so much for your encouragement, your interest in our ministry, your prayers and your gifts (especially the love offering taken several weeks ago).  It is so great to have a "home" church that is so supportive and interested in the work of the Kingdom - both at home and abroad.

“Oakdale 101”   Beginning Sunday, April 15 during the Sunday School hour we will be offering a class for those interested in becoming members of Oakdale EFC or for those just interested in learning more about Oakdale and the Evangelical Free Church.  Pastor Clint will lead you through at least 4 sessions in which we will look at our history, what we believe, why we are here, and why we do what we do. 

     “Oakdale 101” is required for everyone seeking membership at Oakdale.  If you are interested in being a part of these sessions please sign up by calling or emailing the church office.  Call 443-8385  or email oakdale@oakdalechurch.com 

THERE ARE A FEW ITEMS in the kitchen we do not wish to move.  You are welcome to look them over and take anything you can use.  They are located on the stove island.  Also, please check for your things left behind after potlucks and from donating food at the new building.  They are beside the fridge.

IF ANYONE BORROWED a tan dishwasher rack with a red logo on it, please return it to either building.  Thank you.
