MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

New Men’s Theological Reading group will begin April 25.  We will be meeting over the noon hour on Fridays at The Old P. O. Restaurant in Sutherland.  Join us men as we will read and discuss, “Adopted by God” by Robert Peterson.  Sign up for a book in the foyer or talk with Pastor Clint.

Burn The Mortgage - A celebration is being planned for April 13^th to burn the mortgage on our building. Supper will be at 6:30 pm followed by a program.  A-M please bring sandwiches, N-Z please bring a salad.  Table service, drinks and dessert will be provided.

Free Women’s Conference.  “Just Give Me Jesus” women’s conference featuring Anne Graham Lotz is April 18 and 19 in Des Moines.  A 7 week Bible Study that will follow the conference is planned  for a  later in the year.  If you are interested in going to the conference or being a part of the Bible Study there is a signup sheet in the foyer. 

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING immediately following the morning service. We will be voting on new members and voting on the open positions from the annual meeting - Elders, Deacon, Women's Ministry Chair.

LIBRARY UPDATE: Last week was the last day of the Adult Winter Reading contest.  You did a great job reading a total of 251 books.  The small group winner is Merle Wester’s group reading 102 books.  The runner up is Kline Capps’ group reading 43 books.  Please continue coming in and checking out books.

Thanks! Thank you to everyone who attended last Sunday's Lasagna meal. This event helped raise $1,500 towards travel expenses for this summer's youth trip to Salt Lake City, Utah for CHALLENGE '08. Thanks for supporting Oakdale Student Ministries!

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Attention Seniors: Senior's Night Out is tonight! There's been a slight change of plans, we're now going to meet at the church at 4:30pm! This is 30 minutes earlier than previously announced. Please make note of this change. See you at 4:30!

Youth Group: All Jr. High & High School students are encouraged to join us for Youth Group this Wednesday night at 7:00pm. We've been having a great time and a great turn-out the last few weeks. Don't miss it! Join us Wednesday for food, fun, and a Bible study called "What is Justification and Adoption?" Invite a friend. You'll be glad you did!
