MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading group begins Friday, April 25th.   We will  meet over the noon hour at The Old P. O. Restaurant in Sutherland.  Join us as we will read and discuss, “Adopted by God” by Robert Peterson.  Pick up your book in the Pastor’s study and read chapter one for this Friday.

Women you are invited to take part in the “Just Give Me Jesus” Bible study even if you will not be able to attend the conference.  Please sign up or talk with Christi Patterson if you are interested.

There will be an All-Church Potluck following our morning worship service on April 27.  This will be an opportunity for the Oakdale Family-Cluster groups to meet and visit with their deacon or deaconess.   Please bring some food to share.

THERE ARE MANY people who faithfully volunteer at Paullina Care Center.  The Residents and Staff would like to honor our volunteers by inviting you to an Open House at the Care Center.  It will be Tuesday, April 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served.  At 2:30 pm the residents will present musical selections played on the handbells.

ALL LADIES AND YOUNG WOMEN are invited to a bridal shower for Bethany Peters, the future bride of Joshua Hancock, hosted by his aunt Debra Zupke at Valley View at 3:00 pm on May 4th.

THE COMMUNITY NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER program will be held in the Laue Room at the Community building at 7:30 am on Thursday May 1.  The speaker this year will be Dick Nervig and the music will be provided by Verla Hibbing.  There will be rolls, juice and coffee served.  High school students will meet at 7:00 am in Mr. Brasser’s science room.  There will be a breakfast following.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Prince Caspian Audio Book Listening Party Session # 1 is TONIGHT! We'll get started at 5:00pm in the youth room. Supper will be served. Come prepared to get comfortable and to have an awesome listening experience. This event is for Jr. High & High School Students. (Session #2 will be next Sunday, April 27 at 5:00pm.)

Dodgeball Night is this Wednesday at Youth Group! After worship time we'll head into the multi-purpose room for a night of dodgeball craziness. The fun starts at 7:00pm. Don't miss it.
