MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group will meet this Friday, Mar. 9 at 6:15 AM at the Family Table Restaurant in Cherokee.  Please read chapter 16 of Knowing God in preparation for the discussion.

Young Adult small group will meet  today at 4:00 PM in the Parsonage. 

A LIST OF WORK that we can help with at the new building is posted in the foyer.  Please sign up for something you would want to do and put your phone number beside your name so you can be called when these things need to be done.

BIC will meet next Sunday at 4:00 pm.

SERMON ALA CARTE services at the Cherokee Presbyterian Church at at noon on March 7, 14, 21, and 28. 

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING on Sunday March 18th following worship service.  Bring something to share for the potluck.  Drink will be provided.

Two weeks ago we said “Help needed”.  On Tuesday of last week 37 volunteers responded and did a Lot of work at the site.  As an added benefit they enjoyed Estella’s delicious fried chicken supper.  Of course, volunteers are always needed.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

No Sr. High Small Group tonight.

Youth Group: All Jr. and Sr. High students (and their friends) are invited to join us for youth group on Wednesday night at 7:00pm. There will be praise and worship, food, fun, and we'll continue our series, "Who Does Jesus Say I Am?"

PANDAMONIUM is a super fun all-night lock-in event for students in 6th-8th grade. This event starts this Friday night at Long lines Family Rec Center in Sioux City, IA. There will be bowling, dodgeball, pizza, free t-shirts, a drawing for an iPod Nano, and much more! Cost is $20 per person. We'll leave from the church parking lot at 8:00pm on Friday night. If you (and your friends) want to go, please contact Mark Anderson as soon as possible.

Student Ministries Soup Supper is next Sunday night, March 11th! Make sure you're here! Mom's of Jr. and Sr. high students need to provide a large crockpot of their favorite soup. Have your soup at the church by 5:00pm. Students need to be at the church by 5:00pm to help with set-up. Don't miss it!
