MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading group will meet this Friday  March 28, at 6:30 AM at the Family Table in Cherokee.  Please read chapter 11 of “The Holiness of God” in preparation for the discussion.

Burn The Mortgage - A celebration is being planned for April 13^th to burn the mortgage on our building. There are two things you can do. First, as God leads, give to the building fund so that we have a zero balance by April 13^th.. Second, plan to be a part of what God has done.  Supper will be at 6:30 pm followed by a program.  A-M please bring sandwiches, N-Z please bring a salad.  Table service, drinks and dessert will be provided.

Free Women’s Conference.  “Just Give Me Jesus” women’s conference featuring Anne Graham Lotz is April 18 and 19 in Des Moines.  A 7 week Bible Study that will follow the conference is planned  for a  later in the year.  If you are interested in going to the conference or being a part of the Bible Study there is a signup sheet in the foyer.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING April 6^TH immediately following the morning service. We will be voting on new members and voting on the open positions from the annual meeting - Elders, Deacon, Women's Ministry Chair.

THE OAKDALE FAMILY has been invited to the marriage of Joshua Hancock and Bethany Peters.  Please see the bulletin board in the work room for the invitation and details.

BUILDING BOX

Funds borrowed to date:                               $    11,000.00

Capital Improvement Fund - The General Board has set up a capital improvement fund in the budget. Any money given to the building that exceeds the amount we owe will go into that fund. Once the debt is paid off we will use this fund for unfinished projects i.e. stained glass, bell tower, sign, etc.

IF YOU DESIRE prayer or spiritual counsel, following the service there will be a couple available to meet with you on the right hand side of the platform.

HELPING HANDS has several items which need to be delivered to Touch Global in Rockford IL.  If you are going that way in the next few months and would be willing to do this, please contact Evelyn Kludas.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Youth Group- All Jr. High and High school Students are invited to join us this Wednesday night at 7:00pm for youth group. There will be praise & worship, food, fun, and the next lesson in our 20 Basics series, "What Is the Resurrection?" Invite a friend! You'll be glad you did.

Remedy Drive Concert at Summit EFC is next Sunday night. If you want a ticket and a ride to the show you have to get $10 to Mark Anderson by this Wednesday night (March 26.)
