MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group will meet this Friday, Mar. 2 at 6:15 AM at the Family Table Restaurant in Cherokee.  Please read chapter 16 of Knowing God in preparation for the discussion.  Young Adult small group will meet next Sunday March 4th at 4:00 PM in the Parsonage. 

A LIST OF WORK that we can help with at the new building is posted in the foyer.  Please sign up for something you would want to do and put your phone number beside your name so you can be called when these things need to be done.

SERMON ALA CARTE services at the Cherokee Presbyterian Church at at noon on February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, and 28.  Oakdale ladies will serve with Meriden on February 28^th.  A sign up sheet in the foyer for bars, salads (no pasta), dish washers, workers and ushers.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING and potluck today following worship service.  Bring something to share for the potluck.  Drink will be provided.

THERE WILL BE a Breakfast & Bake Sale Benefit for Steve & Debbie Puhrmann who recently lost their home to a fire today from 10 am – 1:00 pm at the Marcus Community Center.  A free will offering will be taken.

OUR SYMPATHY TO Warren and Judy Verploeg in the sudden death of Warren’s brother Stan Verploeg.

Last week we said “Help needed”.  On Tuesday 37 volunteers responded and did a Lot of work at the site.  As an added benefit they enjoyed Estella’s delicious fried chicken supper.  Of course, volunteers are always needed.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

 Sr. High Small Group: Join us tonight as we continue our "Choosing My Religion" study by R.C. Sproul. This will be session #2 of  a 5 week study. We'll meet in the youth room at 5:00pm.

Youth Group: All Jr. and Sr. High students (and their friends) are welcome to join us for youth group on Wednesday night. We meet at 7:00pm at the church. There will be worship, games, food, and a Bible study in our "Who Does Jesus Say I Am?" series.

Attention all 6th-8th Grade Students: PANDAMONIUM is an awesome all night lock-in that happens Friday, March 9th. This event will take place at the Long Lines Family Rec Center in Sioux City. There will be video games, an indoor climbing wall, bowling, pizza party, giant tricycle relays, dodgeball, and much more! Cost is $20 per person. Talk to Mark Anderson if you and your friends are interested in signing up.

Student Ministries Soup Supper has been re-scheduled for Sunday night, March 11th at 6:00pm. Make sure you're here for this special evening.

Senior's Night Out with Mark & Karen will be Sunday, March 25th. All graduating Seniors need to mark their Calendars for this fun evening.
