MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group will meet this Friday, Feb. 23 at 6:15 AM at the Family Table Restaurant in Cherokee.  Please read chapter 15 of Knowing God in preparation for the discussion.

Young Adult small group will meet today at 4:00 PM in the Parsonage. 

A LIST OF WORK that we can help with at the new building is posted in the foyer.  Please sign up for something you would want to do and put your phone number beside your name so you can be called when these things need to be done.

SERMON ALA CARTE services at the Cherokee Presbyterian Church at at noon on February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, and 28.  Oakdale ladies will serve with Meriden on February 28^th.  A sign up sheet in the foyer for bars, salads (no pasta), dish washers, workers and ushers.

LADIES:  The Women's Ministry Annual Meeting is rescheduled for tomorrow, February 19th from 7:00-9:00pm.  All women who call Oakdale their home should come out for this night!  A common sentiment among women in churches is "I just don't feel connected to other women."   This is a great opportunity to come out for food, fellowship, laughter, and the annual "business meeting" side of things in Women's Ministry.  See you there!!

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COMMITTEE MEETING and potluck on February 25^th .  Bring something to share for the potluck.  Drink will be provided.

THERE WILL BE a Breakfast & Bake Sale Benefit for Steve & Debbie Puhrmann who recently lost their home to a fire on February 25^th from 10 am – 1:00 pm at the Marcus Community Center.  A free will offering will be taken.

THERE WILL BE A memorial service for Clarence Rabe on Saturday February 24^th at 10:30 am at Oakdale church.

Help needed:  Besides the usual need for volunteer help at the building site, there is a special need for 2 people to help Ron Morgan beginning tomorrow and also 2 men to help lay the marble beginning Monday, the 26^th.

The financial records have been examined by Mark Hecox and have been found to be correct and in order.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

 Sr. High Small Group: Join us tonight as we kick-off a new Sr High Small Group Bible study. We'll meet tonight at 5:00pm in the the youth room.

Jr. High Lock-In: PANDAMONIUM is a super fun all night lock-in for students in 6th-8th grade. It starts Friday night March, 9 and ends Saturday morning March 10. This event is taking place at the Long Lines Family Rec Center in Sioux City. There will be bowling, dodgeball, giant tricycle races, indoor climbing wall. and much more. Mark Anderson has registration forms. Cost is $20 per person. This is going to be a lot of fun, so invite your friends.

Wednesday Night Youth Group: All Jr. and Sr. High students (and their friends) are invited to join us for youth group on Wednesday night. Join us for worship, games, food, Bible study and prayer. It all starts at 7:00pm at the church.

Student Ministries Soup Supper has been re-scheduled for Sunday night, March 11.

Senior's Night Out: Hey Seniors, get ready for a fun night out on the town with Mark and Karen. Sunday night, March 25 will be the big night, mark your calendars!
