MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group will meet this Friday, Feb. 16 at 6:15 AM at the Family Table Restaurant in Cherokee.  Please read chapter 14 of Knowing God in preparation for the discussion.

Young Adult small group will meet next Sunday, Feb. 18, at 4:00 PM in the Parsonage. 

Family Night tonight at 6:00 PM.  The Oakdale Heritage Committee has been planning this very special evening of reflection on God’s grace and faithfulness towards Oakdale through the years.  Come and celebrate together all that God has done as we look back and remember, which will help us all to look ahead with great anticipation of what He will continue to do through us.  We will have a time of fellowship to follow.  Please bring some food to share.

A LIST OF WORK that we can help with at the new building is posted in the foyer.  Please sign up for something you would want to do and put your phone number beside your name so you can be called when these things need to be done.

WOMEN are needed to help out with a variety of things at the new church.  Please see the sign-up sheet posted in the foyer. 

SERMON ALA CARTE services at the Cherokee Presbyterian Church at at noon on February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, and 28.  Oakdale ladies will serve with Meriden on February 28^th;.  A sign up sheet in the foyer for bars, salads (no pasta), dish washers, workers and ushers.

LADIES:  The Women's Ministry Annual Meeting is rescheduled for Monday, February 19th from 7:00-9:00pm.  All women who call Oakdale their home should come out for this night!  A common sentiment among women in churches is "I just don't feel connected to other women."   This is a great opportunity to come out for food, fellowship, laughter, and the annual "business meeting" side of things in Women's Ministry.  See you there!!

Generous offerings in 2007 have made it possible to keep our loan balance nearly the same even while we are paying many bills.

THE WHITE CROSS always collects used postage stamps.  Please leave at least ¼” border around the stamps.  In 2005 $27,000 was realized from the sale of used stamps by the organization which handles this.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Student Ministries Valentines Banquet: Wednesday, February 14th is Valentines Day. Come to church at 7:00pm just like normal. After worship time we'll head down to the basement for a special Valentines Party. This evening will give Mark & Karen a chance to show all of you how much we love you. Don't miss it. Come hungry. This is for all Jr. & Sr. High students and Youth Sponsors. 

New Orleans Missions Trip: Are you in High School and found yourself thinking, "I wish I would have signed up for the missions trip to New Orleans." Well, it's still possible. Talk to Mark Anderson as soon as possible. We'd love to see a few more sign up!

Sr High Small Group: We will begin a new Sr. High Small Group Bible Study next Sunday, February 18^th.  We’ll meet in the youth room at 5:00 pm.  Join us for a great time of Bible study and prayer.
