MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Men’s Theological Reading Group  will meet this Friday, Jan. 11, 6:30 AM at the Family Table in Cherokee.  We will discuss chapter 1 of “The Holiness of God.”  Men, this is a good time to join us if you haven’t before.  Talk to Pastor Clint for more information.

Prayer Emphasis Week begins tonight!  We will have prayer meetings tonight, Monday, and Tuesday, starting at 7 PM.  We will have our regular Wednesday night program, but with an emphasis on prayer.  Come and help us seek the Lord for the good of our church and our world.

Men’s Retreat at Hidden Acres will be held January 18-20.  The theme is “Band of Brothers,” the speaker is Pastor Tom Nesbitt.  Some of the activities will be: eating Hidden Acres food, volleyball, and basketball tournaments, broom ball, the toboggan run, and of course the pool and hot tub will be open 24 hours a day so bring your swimming trunks.  The registration brochures are in the foyer, please register soon!

REMINDER!!  ANNUAL REPORTS ARE DUE!!  Reports will be printed on Thursday of this week.

Attention College Students: Hidden Acres is now accepting applications for their summer '08 staff. If you're interested in a really cool summer ministry job, this is an awesome opportunity and you need to be applying now. Talk to Mark Anderson to find out more.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. High Students!

Youth Group- All Jr. High and High School students are invited to the first Youth Group of 2008. We'll meet this coming Wednesday night at the church at 7:00pm. There will be food, fun, Bible study, and prayer. It's going to be a great night. Make sure to invite your friends!

Winter Blast is a winter retreat for students in 6th - 8th grade. Winter Blast happens January 25 - 27 at Hidden Acres. Cost is $70 per person. Mark Anderson has registration brochures. Talk to him if you want to go to this awesome retreat.
